Youth Camp 2025, “Planned for a Purpose”, was held from 16 to 19 March at the Girls’ Brigade Centre in Serangoon. A total of 36 youths from HVMC and ACS (International) participated in the camp, with many of them serving in various areas such as worship, activities, logistics and publicity.

Our camp speaker, Janelle Ong, challenged the youth to make the decision, to prioritise God and to live according to His design for us. The youth also got to participate in a wide range of fun activities including icebreaker activities on the first day, an Amazing Race on the second day, as well as team-bonding games on the third day.

Let’s hear what some of our youth have to say about the camp:

It was a lot of fun, the games were well-planned and I enjoyed getting to know everyone better as I’m not from HVMC. I can’t wait for next year’s camp!!
– Evelyn Ong

The camp was very meaningful as I learnt what it means to be “planned for a purpose” and being reminded that I am a Child of God was especially heartwarming.
– Eliza Tan

I had the opportunity to help in planning the camp and it was fulfilling to see all our hard work pay off. God spoke to me through the sermons, reminding me that Christianity is about having a relationship with Him and this will leave a lifelong impact on my spiritual journey!
– Bailey Tan

The activities were very enjoyable and my bunk mates were fun as always. The HVMC youth also welcomed the students from ACS (International)’s Christian Fellowship with open arms!
– Ethan Chang

This camp was very memorable for me as I met many new youths from ACS (International). As head of the logistics committee, I appreciated that everyone helped to make the camp an enjoyable one.
– Joshua Xie

I learned a lot from the camp and I feel my connection with God has really improved because of it.
– Sarae Mant

I believe God touched every single youth's heart during the altar call on the last night. I just felt His call and His open arms embracing us. I am also thankful that everyone was so cooperative, making the camp a great experience for all.
– Xavier Mah

This was the best camp I've been to so far! I had much bigger leadership roles and together with my brothers and sisters in Christ, we planned activities, led devotions and worship. At this year’s camp, I was now one of the older ones and it was heartening to see the younger ones encounter God personally.
- Candra Xie

I really felt empowered by the worship and prayer. God was definitely present in everything I did and I am really grateful for it. I cannot wait for Youth Camp 2026! See you there!!!!
– Jonas Ong
