The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Children & Youth Ministry of the church. He/she must have experience working with children and youths (age 2 to 19) and be able to reach, teach, engage and connect with and provide support and care for the young. He/she must possess strong organisational, IT and interpersonal skills, be a team player and the heart of a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any one of the following fields - Theology, children/youth work, counselling, education, psychology, or social work

• At least 3 years of relevant experience serving in the Children/Youth Ministry or working with children between 2 to 19

• Good interpersonal skills with students and adults, willingness and maturity to work in a multi-dimensional environment which will include church and school leaders and staff, and other stakeholders

• Able to reach, teach, engage, connect with and provide support and care for children and youth

• Proficiency in worship leading, singing or playing musical instruments; the use of social media applications, sound and video production will be helpful

• Strong organisational, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with IT (including the use of internet, email, word processing and presentation software)

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Self-motivated and proactive

• Strong team player

• Responsible and dependable

• Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays
